Vampire: The Eternal Struggle CCG
This is one of the VEKN sites about the excellent collectible card game 'Vampire: The Eternal Struggle'.
This site focuses not so much on the card game, as well as regional developments, games, and required information for the East and North of the Netherlands, centered on Deventer.
The card game players are Methulselahs, ancient vampires who control a series of younger vampires in an effort to destroy the other players/Methuselahs.
The game is owned and distributed by White Wolf games, and first appeared in the early 1990s. Since then, a global network (the VEKN) of local players' organisations has sprung up, of which this is the Deventer locale. |
Why this site?
With this site, I hope to allow the players of VTES in the region to more easily find each other. Also, it will be a source of tournament information, as well as a place to deposit any rules or card questions you may have. The site was started in early 2002, and with enough input it will grow... and grow... |
Day Op - Deventer
Deventer is an old trade city (Hanzestad), founded in 768 by the English evangelist Lebuinus. It has flourished during the industrial revolution, and is now a major attraction due to it's yearly book market.
Deventer's current Prince, Tobias op den Brouw, is often also reachable during the day, and somewhat of a collector of ancient parchments. |
